Dr. Robert Tucker, award-winning ophthalmologist, has been in private practice for more than two decades and specializes in surgery including laser cataract procedures.
Our newest team member Dr. William Bonner, optometrist, has been working alongside Dr. Tucker since Dr. Herman Salmenson retired.
Located in Johns Creek, our facility includes Medical Center Opticians, the state-of-the-art optical shop dedicated to providing customers with the very best quality and service.

Meet Our Doctors
Tucker & Associates Eye Care and Vision Center was founded by Dr. Robert Tucker.
Dr. Robert P. Tucker III, MD, FACS
A native Atlantan and veteran ophthalmologist, Dr. Tucker is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Emory University Eye Center, which is consistently ranked among the top ten ophthalmology training programs in the U.S. Dr. Tucker is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. William Bonner
After growing up in Weirton, West Virginia, Dr. William Bonner first came to Georgia for the conclusion of his training that began at the University of Houston College of Optometry – a place that was also the optometry birthplace of Dr. Herman Salmenson, recently retired from Dr. Tucker’s practice. He now resides in Holly Springs with his wife Judy, a high school librarian, and their 11th grader Bethany. A member of the American Optometric Society and the Contact lens Society of America, Dr. Bonner enjoys nature walks and taking Penny, his Cavalier Spaniel on therapy dog visits.
